Flat Branch Pump Station & Forced Main Improvements

After winning a $39.4 million contract to expand and upgrade the Flat Branch Pump Station, Fru-Con began work in February 2009. Fru-Con Construction projects completion of the assignment in early 2012.

The scope of work includes construction of a new submersible pump station; odor control facilities; gravity sewer; a new electrical load center and emergency generators; refurbishment of the existing pump station facilities; and a new force main on the pump station property and at UOSA's Regional Water Reclamation Facility.

Flat Branch Pump Station is operated by the Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority (UOSA) in Manassas, located in northern Virginia, a scant 15 miles from Fru-Con headquarters.
