Summary:

Fru-Con is seeking motivated students of engineering for state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment projects in the Mid Atlantic area. The selected individuals will provide on-site project technical support to the project engineering manager to ensure a well organized, safe, fully documented and profitable project.

Duties May Include:

• Estimating, take-offs and pricing
• Scheduling via the software Primavera®
• Work in concert with project safety director for safety compliance
• Review of shop drawings, submittals, contracts, etc., for submittal to subcontractors
• Lay-out and survey review
• Maintain project schedule
• Manage field engineering and technical issues
• Identify value engineering opportunities and execute options
• Manage design control and distribution change
• Implement change order processes
• Process resources
• Maintain subcontractor/vendor files
• Maintain project logs

Qualifications:

• Pursuing education in the engineering field, civil or mechanical preferred

Skills:

• Highly motived
• Ability to take direction from all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate well with multiple levels of personnel
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with project planning and scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project and Primavera® is desired
• AutoCAD
• Ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously
• Ability to work well in the office environment or at project sites
